The University of Malmesbury[1] is an academic institution, presumably located in or near the town of Malmesbury, introduced in the episode And No Birds Sing.

There are three known members of staff: Professor Julian Marchant, Billy Halliday, and 'young' Frank Pison. Rosemary Boxer was a former lecturer in Applied Horticulture before having her contract terminated by Professor Marchant.

Daniel Kellaway is a former student of the university, having been taught by Rosemary Boxer. He wished to use some of his wealth to fund the establishment of the Kellaway Chair for Plants Genetics at the university.[2]
